The Brick provides vital services for people facing homelessness, poverty, or debt. From crisis intervention and hospital-to-home support, to asset coaching and running Wigan’s largest foodbank, The Brick offers a solid foundation for those in need to rebuild their lives. We’re proud to support such an essential local charity.

After the devastating bushfires in Australia (2019–2020), our children were moved by the impact on wildlife, especially koalas. Over 61,000 koalas and millions of other animals were affected. The children chose to support the Koala Hospital and have continued fundraising ever since, showing that compassion has no borders.

Empathy is a local non-profit providing therapeutic support to individuals, families, and children across Wigan. Mental wellbeing is something we care deeply about at Nicol Mere, and Empathy’s work in the community closely reflects our own values of support, resilience, and care.

Red Nose Day is all about spreading joy while raising funds for life-changing projects. Whether it’s wearing something silly or taking part in fun activities, our children love getting involved and doing their part to help people in difficult situations.

With many families facing challenges due to the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, Children in Need continues to support vulnerable young people across the UK. We’re proud to take part each year to help make a difference in children’s lives.

Over the years, our Nicol Mere family has raised funds and donated to many other charities through school events, dress-up days, sponsored activities, and more. Whether it’s a global crisis or a local need, we’re always ready to lend a hand and show that even small acts of kindness can make a big impact.
