Our curriculum is purposeful and empowering, built to fully prepare learners for the next stage of their education and their journey through life. We want our children to believe in themselves and understand the world around them. By broadening horizons, raising aspirations, and fostering curiosity, we help them recognise their potential and their ability to positively influence the communities they are part of.

Today’s young people are growing up in an increasingly complex and interconnected world. While this presents fantastic opportunities, it also brings new risks and challenges. Through our personal development offer, we provide children with the knowledge, confidence and resilience they need to make informed choices and lead healthy, happy lives. Our aim is to develop core life skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, self-esteem, and risk management.

Personal Development is embedded across all areas of school life – from lessons and assemblies to enrichment activities and leadership opportunities. Our PSHE curriculum underpins this with three core themes:

We actively celebrate and nurture the individual interests and talents of our pupils, offering a wide range of extra-curricular clubs and experiences shaped by pupil voice and school council input.
